I'm confused about how to piece the pattern together.  I put to use 7.1 stitches per 1 cm and for the finished product to be 18 / 13 (approx)  After stitching for a week I see my finished product would be MUCH larger.  I am using 22 stitch Aida.  Does the stitching start at the top of the picture? Any help appreciated.
