Does anyone else have the problem of the symbols and the colors do not match? The piece I just put through the pattern maker has Queen Elizabeth II with purple hair (not brown) according to the symbol.

Yes I had the same problem.  I was able to correct it by redoing pattern using black and white symbols instead of all colour option. 

Just printed off my proposed design.symbols do not match the key  ie all symbols on the key are black ,some on the chart are white .no option to limit the number of colours and colours not true to life.
