How can I get definition for faces.  Is there a way to get backstitches for the details/definition.

Back stitches are currently not supported, but if may be in a future version depending on requests of the users. Feature requests like this can be discussed in the dedicated topic about new developments (https://www.pic2pat.com/community/index.php?topic=821.0).
