Hi,
Is there a way to get a pattern with less colors.

Yes, that is easy  :D

In the result page in step 3, multiple result pictures are shown. The top page has the most colors. The further you scroll down, the more colors have been combined. Clicking on one of these pictures lower in the list will generate a pattern with less colors.
