Title: Stitches per inch
Post by: Sharyn on March 03, 2020, 11:37:45 PM
Each time I create a cross stitch pattern using different number of stitches per inch, the resulting graph show 10 stitches per inch.
Am I doing something wrong?

I want to use a 14 stitches to the inch tapestry canvas and I am having trouble making the pattern fit the canvas.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you
Sharyn

Hi Sharyn,

Thanks for using Pic2Pat.

The number of stitches per inch is only used in calculating the number of stitches for the width and height of a pattern and to calculate the number of skeins needed per color. The resulting pattern always divides the stitches into blocks of ten.
